When: July 30, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM MEETING NOTICE ONLY: Howling For Wolves will not make a formal appearance here. If you attend, tell the National Parks Service that you think wolves belong on Isle Royale. Isle Royale is a place in America where wolves can exist without the human caused wolf killing that occurs near agriculture and from public hunts. Each meeting will have an identical format and agenda. The meetings will begin with a brief presentation followed by an open house, during which time staff from the National Park Service will be available to answer questions. Attendees will be able to submit written comments at the open house meetings. |

Wolf and Wildlife Conservation and Coexistence Initiative |
When: Wednesday July 15-16, 2015 If you are passionate about wildlife stewardship and advocacy consider attending the Wolf and Wildlife Conservation and Coexistence Initiative (WCCI) July 15-16 in Baraboo, WI. The conference will examine the current state of wildlife stewardship and emphasizes the need to respect diversity and the intrinsic value of life. WCCI features a lineup of distinguished presenters and panelists, including keynote speakers Darrel Rowledge, of the Alliance for Public Wildlife, and Dr. Adrian Treves, founder of the Carnivore Coexistence Lab at UW-Madison. Twin Cities Pride |
When: Sunday June 28, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Howling for Wolves will take part at the 43rd annual Twin Cities Pride Festival on June 27-28 in downtown Minneapolis' Loring Park. The Twin Cities Pride Festival is a celebration of the GLBT community and features more than 400 exhibitors, 40 food and beverage booths, 20 sponsors and 300,000 visitors. Admission is free to the public. Our tent will be located in the Pet Central Zone. This is our third consecutive year at Pride. If you are going, stop by our booth and show your support for MN's wolves. WE NEED MANY VOLUNTEERS to help us! 2015 Grand Old Day Festival |
When: June 7, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Our HFW tent will be located at 827 Grand Avenue, same location as last two years. We'll have merchandise available, so if you need a yard sign, t-shirts, decals or buttons, come on down. Our knowledgeable volunteers will be there well-versed on the wolf issue to discuss the very latest news and information. 2015 MayDay Festival |
When: May 3, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR'S PARADE! Support Minnesota's wolves. The parade line up is at 11 AM, begins at 12 noon. Meet at 11 AM in the Cedar Field Park playground in Minneapolis, at the dinosaur kids' ride near the corner of 18th Ave. S. and 25th St. E. Look for our wolf banner. Walk with other wolf supporters and our president/founder Dr. Maureen Hackett. Bring the family and friends. All ages welcome! No dogs allowed on parade route. Bring a rally sign with wolf/wolves pictures and a message of either "Live And Let Howl" or "I Support MN Wolves". Wear your Howling For Wolves t-shirts. No graphic photos allowed in the parade per organizer. Bring your best howls to show off to the crowds. Do you have friendly wolf mask? or want to wear facepaint? Be creative, have fun.
